Muffin Stories : The Boy Who Cried Wolf | Children's Tales, Stories and Fa
The Boy Who Cried Wolf
In a country far away, there lived a shepherd boy.
The shepherd boy was bored watching sheep.
'Oh~ I'm so bored, I'm always alone. Isn't there anything exciting?'
The boy wondered if there was anything fun to do.
'I'm so bored, maybe I should tease other people.'
The boy cried out loud.
"Wolf! Wolf!"
The villagers working in the fields came running.
"What? Wolf? Where?"
However, there was no wolf in sight.
"Hee hee, I lied. I was just bored."
"What! You, bad boy. You surprised us. Don't do that again!"
The villagers complained and returned to their work.
However, the boy was excited when he saw the villagers come running.
'Hee hee... Look at how surprised they were. This is so fun.'
The next day, the boy lied again.
"There's a really huge wolf! Help!"
The villagers came running again.
They were very upset when they discovered the boy lied again.
"You, bad boy, lying like that again. We won't believe you again."
The villagers complained and went back to work, but the boy was still happy.
However, some time later, a wolf really did appear.
The boy was surprised and yelled out.
"Wolf! Wolf! A wolf has really appeared!"
The villagers continued to go on with their work.
"Hmph, we won't fall for your lie again. Not this time."
Nobody showed up and the boy yelled out louder.
However, the villagers thought he was lying again and nobody came to help him.
The shepherd boy and his sheep were eaten up by the wolf.
Muffin Stories : The Mother Crab and Baby Crab | Children's Tales, Stories
The Mother Crab and Baby Crab
On a white sand beach near the blue ocean, there lived a mother crab and a baby crab.
The small baby crab was walking sideways.
The mother crab was watching from a distance and said to the baby crab.
"You shouldn't walk sideways like that. You should look ahead and walk straight."
"Yes, mommy."
The baby crab made up his mind to walk straight.
But what do you think happened?
The baby crab began to walk sideways again.
"I told you to walk straight. Why don't you listen to me?"
"Mommy, it's not that easy. I'm trying to walk straight, but my body keeps going sideways."
"That's not right. You should walk straight. Now try again."
The baby crab set his mind again to walk straight.
However, the baby crab was walking sideways again.
"How frustrating. I'll show you. Watch and follow me."
The baby crab watched his mother walk.
What do you supposed happened? The mother crab was also walking sideways.
"Oh, what's wrong with me?"
The mother crab tried to walk again, but she was walking sideways again.
"Why do you keep walking sideways?"
"I'm not sure. I didn't walk like this before."
However, no matter how much the mother crab wanted to walk straight, she kept walking sideways.
"Mommy, maybe crabs can only walk sideways."
That's right. Crabs can only walk sideways. That's just the way it is.
After the mother crab heard the baby crab, she was so embarrassed that she quickly went home and hid.
Muffin Stories : Zinnia | Children's Tales, Stories and Fables | muffin songs
Long ago, there lived a scary monster in the ocean.
This monster was mean and bothered the villagers who went fishing.
So the villagers sacrificed a beautiful lady to the monster once a year.
This year, a lady named 'Seonhong' was to be sacrificed.
Seonhong and her parents cried everyday.
A brave young man asked as he was passing.
"Oh, why are you crying so much?"
"Tomorrow, my daughter, Seonhong, will be sacrificed to the monster in the ocean."
The young man felt sorry for Seonhong's family.
"Don't worry. I will beat the monster and save your daughter and this village."
The young man went to the villagers.
"I'll go and beat the monster."
"I will fight the monster for a hundred days. If I win, I will raise a white flag and if I lose I will raise a red flag when I return."
The villagers were worried about the young man and tried to stop him, but his mind was set.
The young man sailed off to the ocean.
SInce that day, Seonhong went to a hill where the ocean could be seen and prayed.
The young man went to the ocean and fought the monster.
The young man beat the monster and raised a white flag.
Right then, the monster suddenly got up and then collapsed again.
The white flag turned red from the monster's blood.
The young man didn't know this and continued on.
On the 100th day, the boat could be seen.
Seonhong waited to see the color of the flag.
Seonhong saw the red flag and collapsed on the spot and died.
The next year, a beautiful flower bloomed where Seonhong waited for the young man.
The people believed that Seonhong became that flower.

Teddy Bear
Teddy bear, teddy bear - turn around,
Teddy bear, teddy bear - touch the ground
Teddy bear, teddy bear - shine your shoes,
Teddy bear, teddy bear - that will do
Teddy bear, teddy bear - go up stairs,
Teddy bear, teddy bear - say your players
Teddy bear, teddy bear - turn off the light,
Teddy bear, teddy bear - say "Good night"
Skidamarink
Skidamarink a dink a dink,
Skidamarink a doo,
I love you.
Skidamarink a dink a dink,
Skidamarink a doo,
I love you.
I love you in the morning
And in the afternoon,
I love you in the evening
And underneath the moon;
Oh, Skidamarink a dink a dink,
Skidamarink a doo,
I love you!
Skidamarink a doo,
I love you.
Skidamarink a dink a dink,
Skidamarink a doo,
I love you.
I love you in the morning
And in the afternoon,
I love you in the evening
And underneath the moon;
Oh, Skidamarink a dink a dink,
Skidamarink a doo,
I love you!
One Two Buckle my Shoe
One, two,
Buckle my shoe;
Three, four,
Shut the door;
Five, six,
Pick up sticks;
Seven, eight,
Lay them straight:
Nine, ten,
A big, fat hen;
Eleven, twelve,
Dig and delve;
Thirteen, fourteen,
Maids a-courting;
Fifteen, sixteen,
Maids in the kitchen;
Seventeen, eighteen,
Maids a-waiting
Nineteen, twenty,
My plate's empty.
Humpty Dumpty
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
